What is THCP?
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabiphoral, or THCP, is a cannabinoid related closely to THC and found in very low concentrations in the cannabis plant. Research has shown that THCP binds to CB1 receptors up to 33 times more often than traditional THC, which means THCP is potentially up to 33x as potent as THC.
What is THC-0
THC-0 is short for Delta 8 THC O Acetate. It has been reported to be as much as 3x more potent than Delta 8. This product is for experienced users looking for a stronger product.
What is CBD?
CBD is a compound found in hemp plants that acts on receptors in the body to promote balance in various body functions CBD is non-intoxicating on its own, so it doesn’t cause any euphoric effects. CBD interacts with the endocannibinoid system – a biological network composed of cannabinoid receptors – to help the body maintain overall health and wellness
What is CBN?
CBN (Cannabinol) is known for its sedative and relaxing properties. It is the cannabinoid that cannabis breaks down into over time.
What is CBG?
CBG aka the “Mother of all Cannabinoids” is known for its restorative effects is perfect for maintaining a balance between body and mind. It is used by many to help relax their mind and is a recovery agent for the body.
What is Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC)?
HHC was first discovered by cannabis chemist Professor Roger Adams at the University of Illinois in 1940. Similar to cannabinol (CBN), HHC has been found as a degradation byproduct of Delta-9 THC. Other similar hexahydrocannabinols have been isolated from Cannabis sativa plants.
HHC is produced in greater concentrations through the hydrogenation of cannabis extracts. Hydrogenation is a similar process of turning vegetable oil into margarine to prolong the shelf life of baked goods. The process involves adding hydrogen to saturate double bonds of THC isomers at the molecular level, producing the saturated HHC compound with a longer shelf life and less susceptibility to heat, UV light, and oxidization.
What are the effects of HHC?
Although scientific research is limited, anecdotally, psychoactive effects include uplifting and euphoric effects similar to Delta-9 THC. The effects are likely due to agonist effects of HHC on CB1 receptors. Anecdotal reports include pain relief, reduced inflammation, and body relaxation.
Preliminary in vitro studies show potential as an anti-cancer agent. While further research is needed, early data from animal studies suggest that hydrogenated cannabinoids may perform as well or better than non-hydrogenated counterparts at reducing tumor size.
